Pentax 6x7

To fire a Pentax 6x7 with no film in

open the camera back

rotate the frame counter to number one or higher

close back still holding counter in position

Camera will now fire normally until reaching end of theoretical film

Leica screw cameras

Always wind on before changing shutter speeds to avoid damaging the shutter mechanism.

Hasselblad V System

Hasselblad V System lenses, bodies and backs should be attached and detached in wound on state. Properly working bodies and lenses will not attach and detach unless in this state. Forcing the issue will result in damage.

Fuji GS645

Nikon FE, FM, FE-2, FM-2, FA, FM-3A dioptre correction eyepieces fit the Fuji GS645 as well as some other Fuji models.

SCA Flash Adapters

SCA is the Metz dedicated flash connection system. Using a series of adapters it allows the coupling of any of the dedicated features that are common to both the camera and the flashgun. There are three versions of SCA:

SCA 500 Series used on a limited number of flashguns and now no longer current due to the adoption of the SCA 300 series.

SCA 300 Series. To generalize; most basic dedication such as flash ready lights,TTL and automatic sync speed setting can be accommodated by SCA 300 adapters.

SCA 3000 Series. To generalize; in most cases auto focus illuminators and zoom dedication require SCA 3000 adapters.

(SCA 3000 Series is a development of the 300 Series and retains all the features and compatibility of the older system but a second row of pins expands the feature set able to be offered by this system.)

note: some Cullmann flashguns also use SCA 300 dedication, as do guns such as the Hasselblad which is a cloned Metz
